Francis König is a Managing Director at DelMorgan & Co. He has more than twenty years of investment banking, real estate, alternative investment, securities brokerage, and corporate strategy experience.
Mr. König has held numerous board director, c-level and/or senior positions and has led investments into a variety of asset managers and public and private companies across a wide range of industries. Prior to joining DelMorgan & Co., Mr. König founded and sold three companies: König Venture Partners, a broker-dealer and hedge fund accelerator; SmartMoneyData, a DaaS and financial information provider; and RazorMail, an enterprise-class email marketing platform. Mr. König was Chairman of US Lenders, Inc. and IPO Holdings, he was a General Securities Principal at Merrill Lynch and WestPark Capital, he has held more than a dozen board director positions, and he is an active angel and LP investor. He began his career with New World Partners, a New York-based hedge fund manager and NASD broker-dealer where he quickly advanced to become the firm’s youngest Managing Director. While at New World Partners, Mr. König helped develop the firm’s real-time A.I. trading platform, which analyzed millions of financial data points to filter, score, rank, and trade public securities of all types.
Mr. König previously held NASD Series 4, 7, 24, and 66 licenses (all currently inactive), and he in fact was the youngest person to earn both the “Series 24” General Securities Principal and the “Series 4” Registered Options Principal licenses (both in 1999). In addition, Mr. König built and launched the first SEC-compliant crowdfunding platform (in 2005), was named finalist for “Mobile Payment Company of the Year” (in 2013), and has worked with dozens of software design and database platforms. Mr. König earned his degree in business administration from Colorado State University with concentrations in Finance, Economics, Accounting, and Real Estate.
