Stephen Crook

Stephen Crook is a Managing Director at DelMorgan & Co.  Mr. Crook has more than 20 years of experience doing strategy and technology management consulting worldwide, as well as structuring corporate finance deals and advising on mergers and acquisitions across many industries.  Prior to entering management consulting, Mr. Crook was also a member of the technical staff at AT&T Bell Laboratories and a new product and service development manager at AT&T.

Prior to joining DelMorgan, Mr. Crook was CEO of his own consulting firm, where he sold and delivered complex multimillion dollar business transformation engagements to Fortune 1000 firms.  In addition, he was a marketing and sales best practices executive educator and thought leader and a human capital management subject matter expert.  Mr. Crook was recognized as a trusted client advisor to C-level executives, producing enterprise solutions, architectures and professional services aligned with clients’ priorities and transformational objectives.

From 2011-2014, Mr. Crook was an Integrated Project Director for Huron Healthcare, working with leading health care providers and academic medical learning centers to improve organizational performance and productivity.  Mr. Crook was also a Western sales team leader and workforce and human capital management subject matter expert and client project leader.  In addition, Mr. Crook was a well-respected client advisor and executive leader focusing on enterprise transformation, recovery and post-deal integration.  He was also responsible for process improvement and technology implementation programs in the HCM space, serving as a bridge between business and technology departments to implement strategic change initiatives.

From 2007-2011, Mr. Crook was Vice President and Corporate Officer of Sibson Consulting, directing Midwest business development efforts totaling $100MM annually and overseeing all elements of firm operations and performance management as a corporate officer for Sibson Consulting and The Segal Company.  He co-managed the 200-employee Chicago office and led the $15MM global sales effectiveness practice across the New York, Chicago and Los Angeles offices, maintaining key client relationships and personally managing all client projects in the area of sales effectiveness and digital transformation.

Mr. Crook graduated with an A.S. in Computer Science with honors and a B.S. in Industrial Engineering as well as an Economics Honors Program from Purdue University.  Mr. Crook also graduated with an M.S. in Operations Research and Software Engineering from Stanford University.  In addition, Mr. Crook graduated with an M.B.A. from The Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.

Mr. Crook has also taught marketing and sales best practices in the executive education programs at Northwestern University and Columbia University and has been a keynote speaker on marketing and sales all over the world.
